GALGE 01 is shaped from a single piece of European hardwood, wrapped where it matters in a thin high-density polymer that lets the arms flex without splitting. At the centre sits a small metal mechanism — fewer than ten parts — that lets the hanger fold flat in your hand and snap open again with a single motion.

People ask us how it folds. We made GALGE because every other folding hanger we found broke in the third month, in the same place, for the same reason. So we redrew the hinge. The wood and the polymer are easy to talk about. The hinge is not — and that's the only thing about this product we'd rather you discovered with your hands.
